This evocative photograph captures the historic moment of the arrival of Lord Roberts and Lord Kitchener at Cape Town on 11th January 1900. The two British military leaders, accompanied by their staff, disembarked from the liner Dunottar Castle, marking a significant milestone in the Second Boer War.
