England win the World Cup for the first time after a 4-2 win over West Germany at Wembley.
The match went into extra time as the two teams were level at 2-2 after 90 minutes. Geoff Hurst scored twice in the extra period to seal his hat-trick and the match. Martin Peters scored Englands other goal. Helmut Haller and Wolfgang Weber scored for West Germany.
